Patricia has loved animals all her life and had lots of them as beloved companions. She has also acquired information regarding animals and their care. Patricia has taken vet tech classes and worked as a veterinary technician in Phoenix.

Currently she has 4 dogs, one cat 4 box turtles, chickens, guinea pigs, rats , a 12 yr old iguana that she has raised from babyhood. And two pot bellied pigs one of whom sleeps in bed with her spouse and herself.

Patricia goes to the animal’s home from once to several times a day. Different pets have different needs and the guardian, of course, knows what is best for his/her companion. If the client is out of town she will usually come in the early morning, late evening and once during the day for a dog. Cat people sometimes need only one visit daily; llamas may be every other day. Patricia charges by the visit, not the day. It depends on how far she has to drive and how many pets live at the home, in other words how long the visit takes.

Patricia prides herself on giving the animals loving care. This means she does not just come in, throw some food down and leave. Patricia plays with the animal, walks if appropriate, groom if this is something the pet enjoys, and in general trys to make up for the pet’s people being gone as much as she can.

Patricia will also come a take care of an animal if the guardian does not want the pet to be alone for too long of a time.

Patricia will also take an animal to the veterinarian, the groomer or anything else that helps the pet and/or guardian.
